Admission of Visiting Students

Visiting Students are former students of our school who would like to visit the German International School Washington D.C. for up to 10 days and attend classes during that time.

  • Advanced Registration Required: Without a minimum 2 week pre-registration and the completion of an Emergency Notification Form we are unable to admit visiting students to the school.
  • School management will review the request and will issue the permission. The student will receive a visitor pass and the visit can last up to ten days. Visiting students will be charged $50 per day.
  • We cannot allow visiting students to participate in school outings or class trips since they are not covered under the school’s insurance policies.
  • Visiting students will not receive a certificate of attendance for their visit at the GISW.
  • Students interested in enrolling in the GISW are invited to spend one day in a preschool group or classroom.

The German International School Washington D.C. stays in touch with its alumni around the globe and is very proud of their achievements.
