Storm Chaser at the DSW

On Tuesday, August 22nd, 2016, our eighth graders were in for a very special treat! The meteorologists of News Channel 7 came with their storm chaser truck to show them how the weather is predicted and how different measurements are taken that go into this prediction. This was also the first time our new WeatherBug equipment here at the DSW was used.

Thanks again to all who contributed to last school year’s Annual Giving campaign which allowed us to add this incredible tool to our science building.
