GISW Cafeteria Menu
For one lunch ticket you can choose to eat one of the following menu items or a sandwich (cheese, ham or salami on multigrain bread) or a large salad.
September 14th-September 27th
Monday:Bratwurst with Scalloped Potatoes (Bratwurst contains Pork!, Potatoes, Spices, Milk, Garlic, Onions, Romaine Lettuce with a variety of vegetables and dressings)
Tuesday:Hamburger with Small Salad (Beef Patty-choice of cheese- on Burger-Sesame Bun with Lettuce and Tomato, Mixed Salad with variety of vegetables)
Wednesday:Spanish Rice or Chicken Noodle Soup (Sp. R.: Brown Rice, Celery, Bell Pepper, Ground Beef, Tomatoes, Spices Soup: Chicken, Chicken Stock, Pasta, Carrots, Celery, Spices)
Thursday:Baked Potatoes with Tsatsiki and Cucumber (Baking Potatoes, Tsatsiki: Yogurt, Sour Cream, Olive Oil, Garlic, Vinegar, Spices, Cucumber Salad: Cucumbers, Oil, Vinegar, Spices)
Friday:Ravioli and Tomato Cream Sauce, small salad (Fresh Cheese-Filled Ravioli, Tomatosauce, Cream, lettuce, assorted vegetables)
Our vegetarians are also taken care of! At the beginning of the week after 9 am there is a list to sign up for you - just ring the bell! This way, we can offer a greater variety for everybody who wants to follow a meatless diet.
Menu changes possible due to unexptected school closings
When we unexpectedly close the school for a day, the lunch menu of the cafeteria will often change for the remainder of that week, because we prepare daily fresh lunches.
Lunch Tickets & Lunch Passes
Lunch passes are purchased during the admissions process. Students will receive their lunch pass on the first day of classes. The lunch program will begin on the first day of classes. In lieu of participation in the annual lunch program, individual lunch tickets can be purchased for $4.75 at the reception.
