With this slogan Susanne Koehler runs the kitchen of the German School Washington since 1999 professionally.

With the help of three volunteer parents she leads the preparation of a healthy, kid-friendly homestyle-cooked meal every day.

The volunteers work about every 4 weeks from 9:00 – 1:30 pm and get a great insight into their childrens' daily life at school, they learn about working in a big kitchen and they get to make lots of new friends in the school's community.
